3 Bathrooms Our gorgeous home has a generous open plan kitchen/dining area and separate lounge and a reading room. It offers a private, spacious and relaxing garden, fully fenced for your four legged friends with undercover deck. Easy walk to nearby shops and restaurants. Great place to base yourself for all the activities the High Country has to offer including easy access to the snow fields via Mt Buller or Mt Stirling. Rivers, Lakes and Mountains to explore for hiking, swimming, fishing and boating.

“Pops cottage in Mansfield was perfect for a group of 5 ladies, for a catch up. The house was very tastefully decorated and was spacious bedrooms and living areas. The Kitchen was very well equipped, with quality wine and Champagne glasses, and a large supply of crockery, platters, trays, plastic containers and utensils. The kitchen was spotless; fantastic bench space and large table to comfortably seat us with plenty of room for platters, salad bowls etc on the table.
The main bedroom has a large ensuite with shower and quality fittings; the 2nd bathroom had a bath and shower. The house had 3 toilets; great for 5 guests!
We loved the verandah area and spent most of our time on the verandah or in the shady garden, sharing dinner or drinks and relaxing.
Easy walking distance to the street (less than 10 minutes) and minimal traffic. We felt the house was good value and very comfortable! 10 out of 10!

Our house is located in a quiet Street 2 blocks and 8 minute walk to High Street- the main shopping strip in Mansfield. The Mansfield Public Swimming pool and main oval is at the top of the street and one block away from the lords oval . The back garden gate opens up to the dog park and tennis courts.
The Great Victorian rail trail starts at the end of Ultimo street- a 2 minute bike ride from the house.
Bus station is a 5 minute walk from the house with buses to Mt Buller ( winter only) and Melbourne.
Pets are welcome at Ultimo Cottage, we ask that they are kept off the furniture, beds and the carpeted bedrooms. All living areas and kitchen are floorboards and very dog friendly.
Smoking allowed outside only.
Guests have full access to the entire house and the garden. All bedlinen and towels are provided.
We send self check in details and you will have the property to yourself during your stay. We live nearby and can be contacted if there are any issues or questions.
There are many fabulous restaurants to choose from in and around town most are within walking distance of the house. We do recommend to prebook ahead to avoid disappointment.
